Bristol Bears’ Beaconian

13 October 2020

We are incredibly proud of former Head Beacon Boy, Fitz Harding (OB 2006 – 12), who now plays for the rugby union team ‘Bristol Bears’. Fitz started in the seconds rugby team at Wellington College and in the fourths at Durham University.

He signed professional terms with the Academy in July 2020 after catching their eye whilst at Durham in the BUCS Super Rugby Championship. He has represented Bristol Bears at the Premiership Sevens, helped Durham to the BUCS Super Rugby title this season and was shortlisted for BUCS Super Rugby player of the year.

His perseverance and hard work has enabled him to pursue his dream of rugby. We are so proud of his outstanding achievements!
