Wrap-Around Care & Clubs

We understand that parents often need flexibility with wrap-around care and we have a number of options available both before and after school.

Pre-Prep (Reception – Year 2)

Breakfast Club from 07:30 to 08:00, offering a choice of continental or cooked breakfast (£3.30 per breakfast).

Early Boys from 08:00 to registration. From 08:00 to 08:15 boys are supervised indoors in groups, and from 08:15 they enjoy playtime outside until registration.

After School

The Pre-Prep day ends at 15:00 for Reception and 15:15 for Years 1 and 2. There are then three options for boys wishing to stay at School:

  • Boys can enjoy one of our After-School Clubs, such as athletics, French or mindful yoga. Year 1 and 2’s clubs are all year round and Reception clubs start in the Summer Term. Reception clubs finish at 16:00, while Years 1 and 2 clubs finish at 16:15.
  • Our Stay and Play programme operates between 15:00 – 16:30. This takes place in our Reception Oakway building, so the boys can enjoy outside play and indoor activities freely. There is no charge for boys staying until 16:30, provided they are booked in.
  • Late Stay Programme from 16:30 to 18:00. There is a charge of £6 (includes tea) for all Pre-Prep boys staying between 16:30 – 17:00, an additional £3 for 17:00 – 17:30 and an additional £3 for 17:30 – 18:00.

Breakfast Club and the Pre-Prep Late Stay Programme fees will be added to your term’s invoice.

Lower School (Years 3-4)

Breakfast Club from 07:30 to 08:00, offering a choice of continental or cooked breakfast (£3.30 per breakfast).

After School

The Lower School day ends at 15:45. There are then three options for boys wishing to stay at School:

  • Boys can enjoy one of our After-School Clubs, such as athletics, Lego Robotics or Drama. Most Lower School clubs finish at 16:45.
  • Prep Club is split into two sessions and boys are expected to stay for the whole session or sessions that they are booked in to. Session one runs between 15:45 to 16:15; and session two between 16:15 to 16:45. These are free sessions for boys booked into Prep Club for the term.
  • Late Stay Programme from 16:45 to 18:00. The boys enjoy a tea and various activities during Late Stay. There is no charge for boys staying until 18:00 provided they have been booked into Prep and Late Stay.

Middle School (Years 5-6)

Breakfast Club from 07:30 to 08:00, offering a choice of continental or cooked breakfast (£3.30 per breakfast).

After School

The Middle School day ends at 16:15. There are then three options for boys wishing to stay at School:

  • Prep Club, which runs between 16:15 to 16:45. This is a free session for boys pre-booked into Prep.
  • Boys can then enjoy one of our After-School Clubs, such as hockey, wood carving or Warhammer. Most Middle School clubs start at 17:00 and finish at 18:00. Boys enrolled in after-school clubs will enjoy tea before their club.
  • Late Stay Programme from 16:45 to 18:00. The boys enjoy a tea and various activities during Late Stay. There is no charge for boys staying until 18:00 provided they have been booked into Prep and Late Stay.

Breakfast Club fees will be added to your term’s invoice.

Upper School (Years 7-8)

Breakfast Club from 07:30 to 08:00, offering a choice of continental or cooked breakfast (£3.30 per breakfast).

After School

The Upper School day ends at 16:45. There are then two options for boys wishing to stay at School:

  • Boys can enjoy one of our After-School Clubs, such as football, fine metal Art club or Lego Robotics. Most Upper School clubs start at 17:00 and finish at 18:00. Boys enrolled in after-school clubs will enjoy tea before their club.
  • Late Stay Programme from 16:45 to 18:00. The boys enjoy a tea and various activities during Late Stay. There is no charge for boys staying until 18:00 provided they have been booked into Prep and Late Stay.

Head’s Talk & Tours
