Early Years Boys’ Visit Willows Farm

19 May 2023

This week our Early Years boys have been learning about farm animals, but the excitement reached unparalleled heights on Wednesday when our boys went on an unforgettable trip to Willows Farm!

The sun was shining and as soon as the boys boarded the coaches the anticipation was palpable.

Upon arrival, the children had the opportunity to ride Tristan the tractor around the woods and fields at the back of the farm. Bouncing along the track, the bumpy journey only added to their excitement as the children spotted animals along the way.

At lunch, they tucked into their packed lunches and following this explored the sandy playground. The sand area was one of the highlights of the day, especially using the water pump! They climbed in diggers, dumpers and tractors, made trenches and dug giant holes.

Before the day drew to a close, the boys went to the animal barn and confidently fed donkeys, sheep, goats, cows and alpacas! They particularly enjoyed snuggling up with the adorable, long-haired guinea pigs.

A fantastic first school trip and the boys enjoyed their learning beyond the classroom walls. Definitely a day to remember, with memories to be treasured.
