Junior Maths Challenge Winners

Our top Mathematicians from Year 6 to Year 8 took part in the annual UKMT Junior Maths Challenge. The top 40% of students in the UK receive certificates of different levels based on how well they performed: either Bronze, Silver, or Gold. As well as these certificates, the highest 1200 scorers are invited to take part in another stage of the Junior Maths Challenge: the Junior Mathematical Olympiad (JMO).
We are delighted that so many of our Beacon boys received awards to celebrating their outstanding Mathematical talents. A special congratulations to James J in Year 6, James B in Year 7 and Alexey A in Year 8, who all received Gold awards and best in their year. Well done to Alexey A who got the Best in School award.
