Our Year 4 boys feasted like Ancient Romans this week! They took part in a food tasting activity to accompany their studies of the Ancient Romans in History lessons this term. The boys were very open-minded to trying new things, such as bread, dates, olives, celery, mackerel and cakes sweetened with our very own Beacon honey! However, Roman delicacies such as snails and dormice were left off the menu! The boys had a great time exploring Roman food and encouraging one another to try new things.
