Friday Pi Day!

17 March 2020

The Beacon Pi Day brought lots of Pi fun!

The Pi recital competition, where boys recited as many digits of Pi from memory as they could, was extremely impressive. After many boys produced very high numbers, Eshwar T blew us away by reciting 254 digits of Pi! After lunch the pie judging got underway. There was an array of wonderfully baked pies, sweet and savoury, but Zac H came away with the win with a fantastic Pi-decorated dish.

However, the part everyone had been waiting for came on Tuesday: the chance to pie a teacher! A big thank you to the teachers for being great sports – what a great day!
