Astra School Centred Initial Teacher Training (Astra SCITT)

We are proud to be part of Astra School Centred Initial Teacher Training (most commonly known as Astra SCITT). Astra SCITT is recognised by Ofsted as “Outstanding” in all categories for Initial Teacher Education, where a diverse network of local primary and secondary schools all work together to support and develop the next generation of outstanding teachers and educational leaders.

For September 2023, as part of The Beacon’s commitment to Astra and our strong desire to support those wishing to enter the profession, we are looking to place up to two trainee teachers (primary level).
