Meet the Pupil Leadership Team

Creating a Positive Impact Among Our Beacon Community

We are thrilled to introduce our newly appointed Leadership Team for 2026–2027! Head Boy Chris D and Deputy Heads Xander A and Oliver F will be representing The Beacon throughout the year, from speaking at Open Mornings and supporting school events to taking on an important role in school life.

Chris, well known around The Beacon for his musical talents and involvement in the Choir, has been part of the school since Reception and has flourished during his time here. He was appointed Head Boy during our annual Speech Day at the Wycombe Swan in the summer term and has already taken on a number of responsibilities in his new role. Alongside Xander and Oliver, Chris recently gave a speech at our Open Morning, welcoming prospective families and offering a glimpse into life at The Beacon. One of his main aims as Head Boy is to help ensure that The Beacon remains a welcoming and supportive environment for all pupils.

Xander has also been part of The Beacon since Reception and is known for his bright personality and friendly face around the school. As Deputy Head, one of his key responsibilities will be leading the Student Safeguarding Team, helping to ensure pupils have someone they feel comfortable approaching. Xander was keen to take on the role because he wanted to make a positive difference to both pupils and staff. Looking ahead, he is particularly excited about delivering the Leadership Team speech at next year’s Speech Day.

Oliver, or Ollie as he is more commonly known around school, joined The Beacon in Year 2 and has made his mark by excelling in sport and academics while being well known for his bubbly and kind personality. As Deputy Head, Ollie hopes to encourage pupils to have the confidence to try new things and get involved in opportunities across the school. He will also help organise charitable events throughout the year, alongside taking on a range of other responsibilities with the rest of the Leadership Team.

On top of these vital roles, we’re also delighted to announce our new Head and Deputy Heads of Houses, made up of star pupils from Year 8. The team will be the face of many of our sporting, charity and House events throughout the year, bringing plenty of team spirit and leadership to their Houses.

Trinity House: Ashton C and Sahaan D

Eddystone House: Henry L and Matteo P

Cromer House: Arki B and Kian C

Portland House: Henry W and Oscar F

We look forward to watching all of our Leadership Team and Head of Houses flourish in their new positions of responsibility, acting as role models for the rest of the school throughout the academic year!
