Year 2 Spreading Festivities
Year 2 wowed a full audience on Monday with brilliant singing, energetic dancing and an impressive display of sign language.
Despite only beginning rehearsals in October, every pupil lit up the stage in their Christmas jumpers, filling the Spinney Theatre with festive cheer.
Little Beacons, our Pre-Prep choir, also delighted the audience with several of their well-rehearsed songs, proudly demonstrating all of their hard work.
Our fantastic music teacher, Mrs Voneshen, shared her praise:
“Wow! What a fantastic celebration of Christmas we had in the Year 2 Christmas Singing Concert. The boys learnt a variety of seven traditional and modern Christmas songs in just a few weeks, plus a couple of lovely songs from Little Voices too. Strong diction, great projection, clear sign language—and Year 2 seemed to have great fun performing! It was such a boost to have the audience joining us with real gusto in ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas’ as well. Well sung, Year 2 (and audience!) Thank you for everyone’s hard work.”
