Songwriting Success for Old Beaconian

We are delighted to hear that former pupil and Beacon Drum Teacher, Charlie Martin, has just signed his first music publishing deal with British group ‘The Six’.

Charlie, who makes up one half of the songwriting and music production duo ‘The Nocturns’, has spent the last couple of years working online with leading musicians in both the UK and US, writing, recording and producing music.

Charlie’s latest production release, ‘Perfectly Imperfect’, sung by Declan Donovan, is currently on BBC Radio 2’s New Music Playlist, with over 8 million downloads on Spotify.
