Beacon Boy Steps Out for One Can Trust

5 May 2020

We are incredibly proud of Zac in Year 1, who has been helping to raise money for the One Can Trust, a local foodbank charity which supports families across South Bucks.

Before the COVID-19 pandemic, the One Can Trust were feeding an average of 160 people per week who were in crisis. Now they are delivering food to over 450 local people each week. Zac has taken to wearing  a pedometer whilst leafleting and volunteering for the One Can Trust. He plans to walk 50,000 steps and to raise over £500 for this fantastic charity.

Together with his family, Zac has also volunteered to be a local ‘Street Hero’, collecting (with safe social distancing) outside Beaconsfield Waitrose on a Monday morning at 11.30. If you are able to go down and see Zac and safely donate any tinned meat, fish, vegetables and long life milk, your donation would be hugely appreciated.
