The Beacon Explodes into British Science Week

5 March 2020

There was a brilliantly bonkers buzz of excitement on Tuesday as the boys in Year 3, 4, 5 & 6 were visited by Dr Sulfur Nitrate. The boys were thoroughly entertained by her brilliant Science experiments and learnt all about the function of controlled explosions and aerodynamics in rockets and aircraft.

Dr Sulfur Nitrate used a range of clever examples to demonstrate complex scientific principles to our students which the boys engaged with and were inspired by. They all came away with big smiles on their faces!
