Old Boys Return to The Beacon
On Thursday, we were delighted to welcome back 30 Old Boys from the 1940s, 50s and 60s who braved the heat and returned to The Beacon for a special reunion. For some of our guests, it was their first time back in over 70 years!
Whilst they enjoyed a sumptuous lunch cooked by Chef Dino and his team, the highlight for many was being shown round by our Year 5 pupils, who were praised for being such excellent tour guides and ambassadors for the school. Our visitors shared stories from their Beacon schooldays, and one alumnus Roger Berkley (OB 1949-56) brought his 1930s Sunbeam car for our pupils to enjoy.
Thank you to all our Old Boys for making the journey back to The Beacon – we hope to welcome you again soon!
