Celebrating art, music and autumnal classwork
Pre-Prep took to the stage today for our annual Harvest Festival, celebrating the art, music and classwork our pupils have enjoyed throughout the term. Families and members of our community gathered in the Spinney Theatre to support our young performers, who were welcomed onto the stage with plenty of applause and cheers.
1B opened the performance with a recital of the poem ‘Harvest Tractor’, accompanied by their very own tractor drawings, carefully coloured in autumnal shades.
The performance continued with a wonderful selection of songs, poems and festive artwork from across Pre-Prep, alongside a performance from Little Voices, our Pre-Prep Choir.
The celebration came to a joyful close with a performance of ‘All Things Beautiful’. Headmaster Nick Baker called for an encore, giving families the opportunity to join the children in singing along and bringing everyone together for a lovely finale.
Well done to all of our Pre-Prep pupils for their fantastic performances, and thank you to all the families who joined us to celebrate their achievements.
