Happy Easter from The Beacon!

30 March 2021

Our Beacon boys got very creative during the last week of term and enjoyed taking part in various exciting Easter-related activities. From colourful and decorative Easter cards and eggs to a fun-filled Teddy Bears’ picnic, the boys had a wonderful time!

In English, the Year 6 boys presented their very own Easter egg for the ‘Extremely Exciting Fair Trade Easter Egg’ competition to their fellow peers. They have been designing their products considering their USP (Unique Selling Point) and their target market. They have also created advertising slogans and posters containing their very own original logo. Many prizes were awarded and it was an extremely enjoyable event!

After a fun-packed final week of term, the boys took part in a non-uniform day in aid of Red Nose Day on Friday. To date, we have raised a staggering total of £2,400 for Comic Relief – a huge Thank You to our incredible Beacon Community for the generous donations. If you haven’t done so already, please click here to donate on our JustGiving page.

Wishing our entire Beacon Community a happy, restful Easter period. We hope you enjoy the gallery below of our Beacon boys taking part in some EGGstremely EGGciting activities! Happy Easter!
