Creative Arts at The Beacon

19 March 2021

We have a fantastic Art offering here at The Beacon, with our boys across all year groups exploring and developing their creative skills. From colourful Pop Art to wonderful willow sculptures, we are always blown away by the amazing artwork created by our boys.

At The Beacon, our boys use colour, form, texture, pattern and different materials or processes to communicate what they see, feel and think. They explore ideas and meanings in the work of Artists and learn about Art, Craft and Design in contemporary life, as well as in different times and cultures. The Art room is always exciting, fun and buzzing with creativity!

The curriculum is designed to give scope for boys to really explore their creativity and imagination, providing visual, tactile and sensory experiences. We hope you enjoy the image carousel and video below, which showcases just a snippet of Art lessons here at The Beacon.
