Year 4 Are Naturally Creative!

14 January 2021

We have been so impressed with the high level of creativity shown by our Year 4 Beacon boys through their #BeaconExcellence: Online Art assignments.

The boys have been braving the weather to create artwork outdoors from natural materials, inspired by the artist Andy Goldsworthy. The theme of the work was ‘ephemerality’, which means ‘only lasting for a short time’. Many boys took several photos of their sculpture changing over time and evidenced what it looked like at different times of the day and in different weather conditions. Some beautiful pieces of art have been created and photographed.

We hope you enjoy the gallery below featuring a range of the boys’ work.
