Geography Sketchers

This term, Year 6 have been looking at Geography as a whole subject: why it is so important to learn, and the key skills needed to study Geography well.

This week, the boys have been looking at field sketching, using the School as a miniature ‘field trip’. Boys learned how to use the grid method to allow key details to be sketched, and though many of the sketches were fantastic, the boys have understood the difference between a ‘work of art’ and a Geographical piece of data presented as a sketch. Well done, Year 6!
