Fantastic Fun at ‘School’s Out’ Activity Week

21 July 2020

The first ‘School’s Out’ Activity Week for Reception and Year 1 was a blast! From crafting to baking to playing, the boys took part in dozens of activities and the smiles on their faces were an indication of the fun they had.

There certainly wasn’t a shortage of crafting opportunities for the boys, with wonderful pieces of art produced. It was an animal affair with caterpillar bookmarks, weaving crabs and mosaic sheep coasters, not to mention the fantastic jungle animal masks. The boys also did their best to scare Mrs Pickard with their monster masks and monster crowns!

Creativity also blossomed in the form of baking, with flapjacks, rice krispie cakes and shortbread all on the menu. Having to concentrate and learn the required techniques, the boys did a fantastic job to make some extremely tasty treats.

Pleased with their crafting and culinary achievements, the boys also spent time exploring outdoors and generally having as much fun as they could! It was wonderful to see them looking so happy at the start of Summer and we hope that their holiday continues to put a smile on their faces.
