Year 7 Geography Field Trip to Chesham

14 February 2020

It was a very windy Tuesday as two Year 7 classes went to Chesham for our field trip on Tuesday. We stopped off at four different places in and around Chesham Town Centre and had a series of tasks to complete: to write down ten words to describe the place (harder than it sounds!); to draw a field sketch; to draw a soundscape.

Although I’ve been to Chesham lots of times before, it was very interesting having the time to really look around a town and put into practice what we have been learning in Geography this term. I particularly enjoyed looking at the different types of houses – there was a surprising variety! Despite the best efforts of Storm Ciara we all had a very enjoyable day out.
