Reception Hunt Dinosaurs!

5 February 2020

Reception have spent the term learning about dinosaurs and are all now dino-experts! This week they learned about why dinosaurs became extinct and, as a special treat for working so hard, they got to go on a dinosaur hunt! The boys had to work in pairs and, using magnifying glasses and binoculars, had to find as many dinosaurs as they could. Some of the smaller ones were very hard to find, but they had lots of fun looking for them. After searching high and low they eventually found them all!

Talk & Tours

Throughout August, our Headmaster, Will Phelps, and our Registrar, Jane Baines, are inviting future Beacon families to safely meet with him on our School site for a socially-distanced tour of our incredible school and an informal talk about your son and his education. Please click here for more details.

“The largest single sex Prep School in the UK, The Beacon still has an impressively inclusive, family feel to it, with a focus on pastoral care and turning out well-rounded boys.”

For a genuine insight into The Beacon, see our recent review from Muddy Stilettos.
