St John’s Beaumont Maths Challenge

3 February 2020

An enjoyable afternoon was had by our four Year 6 boys attending the St John’s Beaumont Maths Challenge last Monday. Over 50 teams entered and the competition was fierce (at least as fierce as it can be when doing Maths!) as competitors problem solved their way through three rounds of puzzles and questions against the clock. The two Beacon teams, made up of Rishi S, Joe B, Edward B and Aaron M, tried their best with the highest placed team finishing 26th. As ever, Mathematics was the real winner on the day, with everyone having enjoyed their time and the experience.

Pastoral Care is at the Heart of Everything We do at The Beacon

Our wonderful School Counsellor, Caroline Yolland, has shared her advice on how to prepare your children emotionally for a return to school sites in The Telegraph today. We are delighted to share this incredible support with other families. https://bit.ly/2ZCsTJb
