A Nature-Filled Day Out
Our Reception boys ended last week with a lovely day at College Lake – an outstanding nature reserve and wildlife centre located near Tring, created on the site of an old chalk quarry.
The boys engaged in a range of practical activities designed to promote critical thinking and reinforce the importance of teamwork. In addition to this, our boys shared a delightful picnic with College Lake’s resident teddy bear, Edward, and their own bears that they had brought along to enjoy the trip.
Altogether, our Reception boys had a brilliant time exploring the outdoors and taking part in new activities. Their teachers were left beaming with pride after seeing how great their behaviour was throughout the day – what a wonderful way to end the half-term!
