Pre-Prep Harvest Festival 2025

Autumnal Artwork, Singing & Dancing

Our Years 1 and 2 boys put on a fabulous Harvest Festival yesterday, with autumnal artwork, festive songs and some brilliant newly-learnt sign language being displayed!

Our Year 1 boys were first to perform in the morning, with parents, siblings and other members of our Beacon Community gathering in the Spinney Theatre to watch with pride, all their hard work come to fruition. Despite it being the first performance in front of a larger audience for many of our boys, they showed great confidence and delivered clear vocals while singing their spirited songs and reciting beautiful poetry.

Next to take to the stage were our Year 2 classes, who showed great improvement from their previous Harvest Festival the year before. From creative, autumn-themed artwork from each individual to our Little Voices performing their socks off with ‘Harvest Rock & Roll’, it was not a show to miss.

We were also delighted to welcome back former Music Teacher, Mrs Knap, who surprised the boys by attending as a member of the audience!

Mrs Voneshen, our Pre-Prep boys’ Music Teacher, was impressed with how much the Year 1 and Year 2 boys had achieved with their Harvest Festival performances within only a few weeks:

Mrs Voneshen says, “It was fantastic to see the boys enjoying being on stage, singing with enthusiasm, displaying fantastic artwork and articulating poems clearly. Bravo, boys! You should feel proud of yourselves.”
