Adventures in the High Alps
Our Year 8 boys were blessed with beautiful sunshine on their leavers’ trip to Les Orres in the High Alps.
The week away contained a range of activities to excite but also push the boys. Some of these included rock climbing, mountain biking and balancing on high ropes. They especially enjoyed the Via Ferrata, which is a specific European way of traversing through mountains.
On top of this, the boys cooled down with water rafting and tackling the aqua park.
After an exhausting but hugely rewarding trip, our Year 8 boys settled in for a long bus journey home. Our trip leaders were immensely proud of them – the boys leaped into trying new things and their overall behaviour throughout the trip was brilliant.
