Learning Essential Life Skills
Our Year 4 boys had an informative and immersive hands-on day at their trip to Hazard Alley Safety Centre in Milton Keynes.
The centre offers a unique opportunity to learn essential life skills through role play and carefully staged ‘real life’ sets. This is learning beyond what our curriculum offers yet something which is paramount in the making of future citizens.
Some of the highlights of the trip included:
- Making a 999-emergency call
- Learning about hazards in a domestic setting
- Practicing practical first aid
The staff were particularly proud of the way the boys interacted with the volunteer leaders and were praised for having such a good cohort of pupils. Well done, boys!
