Improvements Around The School
Over the summer break, our Estates Team have been extremely busy making various improvements across the school to prepare for an exciting new academic year!
🏫Our Front Office in School House has undergone a complete transformation, improving the layout for guests on arrival. There’s now a brand-new ‘Parent Meeting Room’ where the reception desk was previously located. Headmaster Nick Baker’s office has been relocated and the main reception has been moved to the front of the building so our school secretaries can warmly welcome visitors as they arrive. Keep an eye out on our socials next week for the installation of our new reception desk!
🏏Willsfield has also seen significant enhancements, including brand-new cricket nets, two additional new strips, wickets and a line marking machine for our Estates Team to use on the pitches each season.
💨To help our Beacon Community stay cool during the warmer months, air conditioning units have been installed in Year 3, Year 4 and the Art Room.
🏊♂️Surrounding the swimming pool, new window screens have been fitted to help reduce heat and glare.
🚽The Winterbourne toilets have been fully refurbished
🍽️The Dining Hall now features a fresh new wood-effect flooring.
🌷Our outdoor spaces have also had a makeover, with a new vegetable garden, flower beds, new fencing and block paving to create a more vibrant environment.
💻Our IT Team have also provided a batch of new tablets and other equipment for our Beacons boys to enjoy in lessons.
We hope that all of the improvements make a positive impact for our Beacon Community.
