Opportunities to Shine
We’re thrilled to announce the appointment of our new Head Boy Team for the academic year 2025–2026. Many congratulations to Head Boy, Rocco G, and Deputy Head boys, Emilio T and Karanveer D!
Head Boy – Rocco
Rocco started The Beacon in Year 1 and has a younger sibling also attending. He hopes to encourage interactions between different Year Groups and represent the school proudly.
Deputy Head – Emilio
Emilio is entering his third year at The Beacon after starting in Year 6. He looks forward to making positive changes throughout the year and hopes to “lead by example” by keeping up good behaviour in class and influencing his peers positively.
Deputy Head – Karanveer
Karanveer also started at The Beacon in Year 6. He was inspired by former Deputy Head Boy, Thor, which ignited his enthusiasm to take on a leadership role within the Head Boy Team. Karanveer looks forward to supporting his own team this year as well as presenting speeches in Beacon events.
A big congratulations to our new Head of Houses who have also been announced:
Head of Cromer – Barney G | With Deputy Head Henry M
Head of Eddystone – Hunter O | With Deputy Head Oleg V
Head of Portland – Henry B | With Deputy Head Thomas S
Head of Trinity – Arthur W | With Deputy Head Nisaja D
Our Head and Deputy Head of Houses will assist in organising events, fundraising and tracking their House Point earnings. We’re confident they’ll bring great spirit and motivating leadership to their roles among the relevant Houses.
Head Chorister – Nisaja D
Nisaja D was delighted to be appointed the role of Deputy Head of Trinity, as well as taking on the exciting opportunity of becoming Head Chorister. This will be an action-packed role, with Nisaja supporting younger choristers, helping maintain discipline within the choir, assisting with vocal warm-ups and serving as a role model for musicality, preparation and dedication. We are certain he will represent the choir brilliantly and will flourish over the coming year.
We are incredibly proud of all our Beacon boys, it was a tough decision among the teaching board to select boys for each of the roles. We look forward to seeing those selected for these leadership positions flourish throughout the year ahead, creating a lasting impact on the school community.
