Anti-Bullying Awareness Week

Power for Good

Each year, our school places great importance on promoting and raising awareness of Anti-Bullying Week.

This year, the theme was “Power for Good” – encouraging our pupils to recognise the positive power they each hold to support others, challenge unkindness and help make our school and wider community a kinder, safer place.

As always, our boys were also encouraged to get involved by wearing Odd Socks on Monday 10th November. This was a simple act of celebrating individuality and showing support for the cause.

Families were warmly invited to join in by wearing Odd Socks too and some supported the national campaign by donating to our Anti-Bullying Alliance fundraiser, where all that was raised went towards preventing bullying and protecting children’s futures.

We also hosted a powerful Anti-Bullying Awareness Day, welcoming a specialist external speaker who delivered an engaging Assembly that inspired pupils to think deeply about kindness, empathy and the power of standing up for one another.

Throughout the day, boys from different year groups took part in interactive workshops that explored real-life scenarios, strategies for responding to bullying and the importance of inclusion. The sessions encouraged discussion, built confidence and helped pupils develop practical tools to support themselves and others.

The day strengthened our school’s commitment to creating a safe, respectful and supportive environment for everyone. Our boys left feeling informed, empowered and ready to help foster a culture where bullying has no place.
