Top Marks at Year 4 Maths Challenge

3 March 2020

Our Year 4 mathematicians wowed judges at a recent maths challenge at Gayhurst School, taking first and second place!

Two teams of two took on the variety of challenges with real confidence, working together to complete sequences, organise tangrams into given shapes and complete a range of calculations.

At the end of the afternoon as the scores were calculated, the boys awaited in anticipation before the final reveal. With delight, we discovered that one of our pairs had come joint second with another team and then, to our great thrill, it was also announced that our other pair had come joint first.

Congratulations to the boys for taking part and being very gracious winners.
