Recycling Project Helps African Charity

Recycling at The Beacon

A recycling project pioneered by Year 5 pupil Noah received a wonderful boost when The Beacon welcomed Dr Tamsin Lillie from charity Medic To Medic to a whole-School assembly.

Dr Lillie, who came from Amersham herself, thanked our boys who have been collecting used crisp packets, bread bags and pens for a recycling scheme that sends much needed funds to the charity.

Medic To Medic helps support students in Malawi who are training in the field of medicine, and it was fantastic to hear how our boys’ efforts are helping to train much needed medical staff in Africa.
