In a Jam for Charity

17 October 2019

After being inspired by a visit from the Berks and Bucks Wildlife Trust, our Year 4 and 5 boys decided to make jam from locally-sourced strawberries to raise money for The Wildlife Trust. In the end, they made 86 jars of jam and sold them to family and friends, raising £215 for The Wildlife Trust.

Talk & Tours

Throughout August, our Headmaster, Will Phelps, and our Registrar, Jane Baines, are inviting future Beacon families to safely meet with him on our School site for a socially-distanced tour of our incredible school and an informal talk about your son and his education. Please click here for more details.

“The largest single sex Prep School in the UK, The Beacon still has an impressively inclusive, family feel to it, with a focus on pastoral care and turning out well-rounded boys.”

For a genuine insight into The Beacon, see our recent review from Muddy Stilettos.
