Lower KS2 Teacher - for January 2019

We are looking for an inspiring Teacher at KS2 level to join our strong Lower School team here at The Beacon.  This position involves caring for and nurturing a class and being responsible for the planning and delivery of the curriculum.  Applications would be welcomed from talented generalists, from NQT through to many years’ standing.

Marketing Assistant - For September 2018

We are seeking a Marketing Assistant on a one-year fixed-term contract to support our busy Marketing, Development and Events team. The role would be term-time only and may also suit a graphics or marketing intern/graduate looking to develop the application of digital communications and design skills in the education sector. The team is taking on more duties ‘in-house’ and there may be scope for the role to become permanent in line with future needs and in particular the development side.

Science Lab Technician - For September 2018

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic scientist to support the daily activities of our Science Department.  You would work in our new science labs and have access to the latest technologies working closely with the teaching team.

Estates and Grounds Assistant - For Autumn Term 2018

We are looking for someone who is hardworking, passionate about high standards of workmanship, particularly keen to work outside maintaining our grounds and enjoys working collaboratively in a busy and vibrant environment. A flexible, polite, cheerful and pro-active attitude is essential together with strong interpersonal skills as the role involves working as part of a team alongside staff, parents and visitors. Ideally, with experience in grounds and landscaping you will be someone who enjoys rolling up sleeves and being part of a team where nothing is too much trouble.

Hours are generally 8:00 am – 4:00 pm with lunch provided, but flexibility around these times is also needed at times. A willingness to work extra hours is required as the school is open beyond these times and occasionally at weekends. This post is for 52 weeks of the year.
